Abdulazizkhan Madrassah

The architectural monument was built in the 17th century by Abdulazizkhan, Khan of Bukhara.

Mausoleum of Abu Hafs Kabir Bukhari
Erected in the 19th century, the shrine was built in tribute to a scholar of the Hanafi Madhab Abu Hafs Kabir who was awarded the title of "Qubbatul Islam" (Dome of Islam).

Complex of Bahauddin Naqshband
The complex of Bahauddin Naqshband is located in the village of Qasri Arifan of the Kagan district of Bukhara province. Structured in the 14th-16th centuries, the complex embodies a mosque, madrasah, minaret, a pool and a well.

Baland Mosque
This 16th century mosque, erected on stone boulders, manifests a unique blend of classic architecture.

Balahavuz Mosque
The dome mosque of Balahavuz was built in the 18th century.

Mausoleum of Saifuddin Baharzi
Built in the 13th-14th centuries, Bukhara, the shrine is named after the great Imam who preached Islam among the Mongol invaders.

Mausoleum of Bayanqulikhan
The monument, a rare example of the architecture created under the period of Amir Temur, was built in the middle of the 14th century in honour of Bayanqulikhan of the Chagatai Khanate of Mongols.

Namazgah  of Bukhara
Constructed in the 12th century on the site of the summer residence of the dynasty of the Karakhanids, Namazgah is an architectural monument of Bukhara, where people performed their prayers.

Complex of Char Bakr
The complex, built in the 16th century, consists of a mosque, a madrasah and a large garden.

Char Minar
The monument was erected in 1807 and encompasses a mosque, madrasah, courtyard and several minarets surrounded by rooms.

Hanakkah Faizabad
Built in 1598-99 in Bukhara, the shrine features gallery-like style with open arches.

The architectural monument was erected in the 16th century and embodies a madrasah, mosque, minaret, swimming pool and a palace.

Mir Arab Madrasah
Built in the 16th century, the madrasah consists of 114 rooms and is still functioning today.

Mausoleum of Ismail Samani
This ancient shrine, also called as an architectural pearl of the East, was built in honor of Ismail Samani and included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.

Kukaldash Madrasah
The madrasah was built by Qulbaba Kokaldash, deputy of the Khan of Bukhara, in the 16th century.

Labi Khauz Ensemble
Built in the 17th century, the ensemble features khanakas of Nadir Divanbegi, Madrasah of Nadir Divanbegi, Madrasah of Kukaldash and Madrasah of Ernazar-Elchi.

Kalan Mosque
The congregational mosque was built in the 12th – 16th centuries and added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.

Madrasah of Nadir Divanbegi
Set up by Nadir Divanbegi, deputy of Imamkulikhan in the 17th century, the madrasah consists of a mosque, varanda and a large lecture hall.

Sitarai Makhi Khasa
The palace, belonging to three generations of the Manghyt dynasty in Bukhara,  was the residence of Bukhara emirs.

Ulughbek Madrasah
Built by Mirzo Ulugh Beg in the 14th century, the madrasah is located in the Ghijduvan district of Bukhara.

Complex of Khodja Zayniddin
The complex dates back to the first half of the 16th century and was designed as a mosque with some rooms.

Shakhrisabz
Oqsaray Palace
Oqsaray (White Palace) is one of the oldest buildings which used to be a residence building. Its construction was launched in 1380 and completed in 1404 by the Timurids.

Darut-Tilovat Palace  
Built in the 14th -15th centuries in Shakhrisabz, it consists of the mausoleum of Shamsiddin Kulal and the mosque of Kuk-Gumbaz (Blue Dome).

Gumbazi Sayidan
It was erected by Mirzo Ulugh Beg in the 15th century in Shakhrisabz.

Ensemble of Darus-Saadat
The ensemble embodies the Mosque of Hazrati Imam, tomb of Amir Temur's eldest son Jahangir Mirzo and Amir Temur’ tomb, which he built for himself.

Termez
Memorial Complex of Hakim at-Tirmidhi
Erected in the 9th-15th centuries, the complex is located along the Amu Darya river, near the city of Termez. Hakim At-Tirmidhi is one of the greatest scholars of Sufism of the 9th century.

Shrine of Abu Isa at-Tirmidhi
Built in the 11th- 12th centuries, the monument is located in the Sherabad region of Surkhandarya. Abu Isa Tirmidhi is an outstanding scholar of hadith, who created a range of works, including Sunani Tirmidhi and Shamail un-Nabawiya.

Minaret of Jarkurghan
Constructed by the medieval architect Ali ibn Muhammad Sarahsi in the 12th centuries, it is the only multi-faceted minaret in Central Asia.

Complex of Sultan Saadat
The tomb of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) descendants of who lived in Termez, built in the 10th 17th centuries, east of Termez.
